A cruise ship had just passed by and this resulted in huge waves. This guy was enjoying being hurled up by the waves.

still on the clean and clear water. Further from the sea and nearer the shore, these pebbles were very pretty.

I like the green hue of the moss. It was rather slippery walking on the seabed because of the moss. It looked very beautiful though. The water was very clean and clear too.

The tiny dots are the headlights of a train docked at the railway station. This was the only shot i had with the flash on.... (sorry, it's blurred)

Usually, I don't like seagulls but this one was cute. It was alone and was standing on one leg scratching.

Suomenlinna

WELCOME to the start of this blog(which is not necessarily daily) in which i'll be posting additional Vantaa photos and photos from other parts of Finland. I'll be discontinuing my Summer in Finland since summer is over soon..

Here are some photos taken on the island of Suomenlinna. They were taken on 290706. Suomenlinna was once a military fortress. On my previous visits I've had taken photos of the fortress so i decided to skip that. Instead here are shots of the sun, sand and the sea. Also the birds..

Blogger has been giving problem with photo uploading so here's a gallery of the pictures i took. Individual posts on some of my favourite photos will soon follow..
